Margaret joined Learning Alliances in 2020 as a School Outreach Coordinator where she partnered with schools in the Northeast Region of the U.S. to develop professional development programs. In her recent role as the Director of  Learning Alliances-U.S., Margaret collaborates with school district throughout the continental United States to create, develop, and implement programs to improve the quality of education in individual schools and their surrounding communities. Margaret has worked in education for over 30 years and started her career as a classroom teacher in Jersey City, New Jersey. In addition to teaching in public, private, charter, and independent schools, Margaret's experience includes working as a School Director, Literacy Consultant, and Professional Developer in urban and suburban settings. She received a Master's Degree in Elemental Education from Saint Peter's University and her M.Ed. in Education Leadership from Columbia University. Her role at Learning Alliances gives her the opportunity to create partnerships with district administrators, teachers, families, and community members providing a positive impact in the future of education.
