IEP provides SES services to
students through an intervention curriculum in Reading/Language Arts and
Mathematics. The services are offered after school at the students'
home school. Parents make the decision to enroll their child in Reading/Language Arts or Mathematics. The
Reading/ Language Arts curriculum was developed with the five components
of reading (phonemic awareness, fluency, comprehension, phonics and
vocabulary as outlined in No Child Left Behind legislation) as
its foundation. The Mathematics curriculum is aligned with the ten
recommended standards of the National Council of Teachers of
Mathematics. Both programs are aligned with your state's K-8 Math
and Reading/Language Arts curriculum standards. |
