The IEP Program is running very smoothly. All the
children are successfully working at their level. The materials are
aligned with the curriculum and the state assessments. I am happy to
have IEP as a provider for our after school program. I am extremely satisfied with the IEP tutoring program. Last marking period, for the first time, my daughter made the honor roll. This made me very proud. My daughter always works very hard however, it wasn’t until she started attending tutoring that I saw some major improvements.
Parent Innovative Educational Programs provided supplemental educational services for 48 students who were in need of intervention instruction. The materials were highly motivating and addressed the individual needs of the students. The components of the program including an individual student plan and regular progress/attendance reports', proved to be most effective in raising student achievement. Regular communication with parents also impacted positively on student success. Students who participated in the IEP program have shown significant academic gains as indicated by progress monitoring and benchmark testing. As the lead teacher, I was very impressed with the level of support and genuine concern for the students shown by the program coordinator, Ms. Tania Eagleson. Her immediate response to recommendations and requests contributed to the positive effects of the program. IEP has been a rewarding experience for students, parents and staff.
